When you send out a document, you can set the type of signature for the recipient(s) with which they can sign. There are two types, namely the "click signature" and the "capture signature".
Click signature - "Click-to-sign"
The click signature is the signature where the recipient can sign the document by clicking with the mouse on "click to sign". By just clicking, the document is signed. The click signature can be placed via any electronic device.
Capture signature
The capture signature is a "drawing" that the recipient can put on the document via his smartphone or tablet. The receiver can do this with his/her finger or with a device that is suitable for touchscreens.
How do I set up a click signature or graphic signature?
When you are in the ValidSign environment in the document and you have dragged the signature field to the right place, you can choose two fields. First of all, the click signature. When you drag this field into the document, the signer only has to click. You can also opt for the capture signature. This field is next to the click signature field. You can see which signature you have selected by the text above the field.
For this click signature or graphic signature you can set that this signature can be optionally set. This allows the signer to choose whether or not to sign.
