Transaction settings
To enter the settings menu click on the settings button.
A menu will then open on the right containing various settings for your transaction. These are the possible settings.
Transaction name | Here you can edit the transaction name |
Description | Here you can enter a description of the transaction, this is only visible to the owner of the transaction and can therefore be used to make notes for yourself. |
Message to all recipients | Here you can add a message for all recipients of the transaction. They will find this in the e-mail they receive after you have sent the transaction. |
Expiry date | You can set a date on which the transaction will expire, more information about how this works can be found in the article about the expiry date. |
Language | The language settings of a transaction determine in which language the emails about the transaction are sent and in which language the menus are displayed during the signing process. |
Reminder schedule
|
In a reminder schedule, you can set when reminder emails are sent to recipients who have not yet completed the signing process. It is also possible to save a standard schedule in your ValidSign account. More information about this can be found in the support article My account. |
Timezone |
Here you can set which time is used when generating the evidence summary. More information about the evidence summary can be found in this article about the evidence summary. |
Review before completion |
This function makes it possible to review the transaction again before it is marked as completed. This can be useful when you ask a signer to upload a document as part of a transaction. Think, for example, of uploading a copy of an identity document. More information about this can be found in the article about attachments. |
In person signing |
You can set this function when you are in the presence of the recipient(s) and you want to sign in quick succession on one device. When the first recipient signs, the second recipient is prompted to sign on that same device. |
